Meeting customer challenges with innovative solutions

SMAC is a designer and manufacturer of elastomer-based technical solutions in the fields of vibration, acoustics and sealing for the aeronautics, space and defense sectors. Our largest area of activity is focused on vibration protection for on-board electronics in harsh environments (from launch shocks for space to the operation of satellites in orbit or landing on planets). Acoustic protection for passenger comfort in commercial aviation worldwide.

Our annual turnover is 7 million euros and we export 53% of our products. The main countries from which we import are China, Japan, the United States and Brazil.

Until now, we didn't manage transport directly, we asked our suppliers to deliver to us in DDP and so we didn't control the costs and the impact that transport had on the purchase cost. For exports, most of the time we use Ex Works or FCA because it is simpler.

As soon as I can entrust a transport to OVRSEA I do it because it is very easy, the interface is intuitive, I follow the progress of my transport in real time, I don't need to wait 24 hours to get information, I love it, I have never had a service like this.

I've never been more in control of my exports than since I started working with OVRSEA. It's easy, it's human, I can write an email without any formality, you react right away and you understand. I send the information and that's enough for concrete action to be taken. I have total confidence in OVRSEA, as soon as you manage to negotiate the price of one of my transports downwards, you alert me directly and deduct it from my invoice. It's perfect.

The platform is clear and intuitive, I don't have a favorite feature, I love them all!

Concerning the relations with the team, I have nothing to say, you are open, understanding, as soon as I have a problem, even when it is not related to you directly, you answer me, it is a true collaboration, it is what I was looking for and I do not regret at all to have trusted you.
